Beautiful in Beige

Step one: cut in the room!

Step 2: Roll on the paint!

Step 3: Get me out of your house so you can enjoy it!!

10x10 kids room

Before

This 10x10 kids room was yellow and needed to be painted a neutral color for the home to sell.

After
As you can see I charge MUCH less than other painters and I take pride in my work!

Messy basement turned Inviting family room

Before
This was a mess of a daylight basement, I can say that because it is a house I flipped. The walls were tangerine colored (not pictured), the curtains were ripped, and the light fixtures very outdated. Pictured here is when I cut out the worn carpet at the door and was about to tile the area.

After
I painted the room "white washed oak", painted the door a creamy white called "honey suckle bloom", tiled the entry way, hung new curtains on existing rods and installed new energy efficient light fixtures.

Stairwell

Before
This stair case had old carpet and orange walls and an old light fixture.

After
I painted the walls and ceiling "whitewashed oak", ripped up the carpet, painted the steps with brown floor paint, and installed a new light fixture.

Medium Bedroom

Before
This room had dirty blue walls and old curtains

After
I painted it light gray, painted and installed the white floorboards and installed new rod and curtains

Master bathroom

Before
This PINK master bathroom was very dated!

After
I put in a "sticky" tile floor, painted the walls and ceiling "natural", painted and installed the floorboards. My husband put in the vanity and mirror, I tiled the back-splash.

We re-tiled the shower and put in the new fixtures. Stunning!

Bathroom1

Before
This main bathroom had teal tile in the shower and back-splash, pink walls and ceiling, and dated brown toilet, tub and sinks.

After
I ripped up the old linoleum, installed a "sticky" tile floor, painted the entire room "natural", sanded down the cabinets and painted them "honeysuckle bloom"(white). We contracted a tub re-finisher (only cost $350) so the tub is no longer brown! We installed the new tub surround. My husband put in the toilet, new counter top, new sinks and faucets. We also ripped out the teal tile and put in "bead-board" as the back-splash. Looks great!

livingroom fireplace

Before

This Family room had very dirty walls and large cracks, the fireplace was pink stone.

After
We ripped up the old carpet and found hardwood which we contracted to have refinished. I painted the fireplace bricks, painted the walls "khaki" and the other walls "cabin red".

Thanks for looking!

Commit your work to the Lord and it will succeed. Proverbs 16:3

Thanks for stopping by my site! These were just a few of jobs I have completed. I hope you enjoyed the before and after pictures!

About me and my "philosophy"
All my prices are low because painting is my part time job and I have a solid view of what interior painting is about--that is, unlike the big companys that claim painting is life or death (and so they must charge you $1,000 to paint your entryway), I understand that you just don't have time to do it yourself and want to hire someone to do it. You don't appreciate being told what brand of paint you have to use and being charged double the cost of that paint. When you call me we will discuss your project and timeline. I will come over and help with color choices if you need the help and I will write up a bid. Not an estimate, a real cost bid. I paint approximately 15 rooms per month, working 2-3 days per week on average.

My company is fully insured with State Farm for 500k per occurance, never had to use it, but its there for your peace of mind!

I look forward to hearing from you through email at: daybreakpainting@gmail.com
